 The Arboretum is hosting a spring public event with Plein Air Austin. This is an Artist Paint Out with Exhibition & Art Sale on Saturday, June 1st, 2019. Participating artists will paint on site in the morning, then display & discuss their paintings with the public in a "Wet Paint Gallery" from 11 am - 12 noon.
Exhibition & display tents will feature framed plein air paintings that are available for purchase. Live painting demonstrations will be held. The public is invited to come learn about and see how to paint from life en plein air. Children are welcome to create their own artwork in the "Kids Corner" tent. The event is free and open to the public. Exhibiting artists must be current members of Plein Air Austin and the paint out begins at 8 am. Arboretum 10000 Research Blvd, Austin, TX 78759 map
