PLEIN AIR AUSTIN pAint outs

PAA coordinates monthly outdoor painting sessions in Austin and around central Texas.
We enjoy painting the scenery of many local parks and natural areas which Austin and the surrounding
Texas Hill Country are so well-known for. Membership to Plein Air Austin is not required to attend our painting sessions unless specifically noted as a "members only" event.
If you are interested in painting outdoors, then come PAINT WITH US  on our next paint out.
Our MeetUp page has additional information & comments on scheduled Paint Outs:

"SKIES THE LIMIT"
Summer skies and clouds captured on canvas. Start in July & August to visually note the subtle changes in color temperature by painting sky-scapes.  As the sun moves lower in the northern hemisphere and we shift into Autumn, shadows grow longer and the color of blue changes. These shifts from warm to cooler temperatures are evident in the color temperature in the sky and therefore your choice of blues from your palette. Let's see these colors on canvas.
