Saturday, January 15 - Driftwood, Texas
Join us to paint the old Texaco station, church, shops and ranches in the very small town of Driftwood. Plenty of parking, come early for the best light on the old station.
Directions:
From Austin, take MoPac south until it turns into 45. Continue to the stop sign at FM 1826. Turn left, continue past the Salt Lick, to the intersection at FM 150. Turn left, about a mile to Driftwood

Thursday, January 26 - Austin Java on Barton Springs
Meet at Austin Java for painting, coffee and brunch (if needed). Lots of great light and trees, colorful buildings and Barton Springs is close, too. Park at Austin Java, Chuy's or on the street.

Saturday, January 28 - Camp Lucy
Join us in Dripping Springs for a morning of painting at Camp Lucy. Located on Onion Creek, this property features a restored French Colonial chapel, open pavilion of ironwood timbers, cottage, bricked courtyard and sweeping vistas.

From Austin, take 290 west to Dripping Springs, continue on 290 through the light at RR12 for another 4.8 miles. Turn left on Holder Lane until it dead-ends at Creek Road. Turn left on Creek Road and go .9 miles to the Camp Lucy entrance on the right.

Thursday, February 9 - Zilker Botanical Gardens
Rose garden gazebo, Japanese Garden, native plants, koi ponds, old pioneer cabin, etc.
Note: Effective October 31, 2011, admission to Zilker Botanical Gardens is $2 for adults, $1 for adults 62 and over. Please be sure to stay on pathways and grass areas without blocking the trails ($25 fine for damaging a planting).

Saturday, February 11 - The Preserve at Walnut Springs
The Preserve at Walnut Springs, a conservation development located 5 miles west of Johnson City, has offered to host PAA at their ranch! This is a great opportunity to paint the Hill Country with 2,000 acres of rolling hills and grasslands, steep elevations, waterfall, horses and a herd of 30+ longhorns -- you won't want to miss this paintout! The clubhouse will be available for our use as well, to get out of the elements or have lunch. You're welcome to stay for the day.

The Preserve at Walnut Springs, 193 N Walnut Springs Drive, Johnson City
From Johnson City, take 290W towards Fredericksburg for 1.7 miles. Turn left at the giant steel longhorn sculpture on the left, onto County Road 204/Flat Creek Road. Go 4.7 miles to the second set of gates and turn right onto North Walnut Springs Drive. Follow that .2 miles to the clubhouse and parking on the left.

Saturday, February 18 - Onion Creek, Buda**
Meet at private residence located on Onion Creek off Loop 4 in Buda. Fields with large spreading oaks along the banks of Onion Creek.

Thursday, February 23 - Austin Ridge Backyard
Austin Ridge Bible Church has opened their property for all kinds of recreational activities for the community to enjoy. Hiking trail with 20-mile vistas, scenic trail around "the grotto" and lakeside picnic area offer a variety of painting opportunities.
Directions:
Austin Ridge Bible Church is located at 9300 Bee Cave Road. From Loop 360, take 2244/Bee Cave Road west to Cuernavaca. Turn right onto Cuernavaca. The Backyard parking lot entrance is the second driveway on the right.
